it's named for GRIT, a collection of poetry by Silas Denver Melvin, one of my all time favorite poets and artists. you can find him online @sweatermuppet (& variations of that handle).
my fave poem of his recently is Homesick. read it if u can & support his work. he sells stickers and merch and patches!!! and he sends his art in little brown envelopes. i love love love his work. go look him up go go go
