ANTI XMAS
We hate the hyper capitalistic consumerism that Christmas represents here at The Courtesy Hour!!!!!! So to fight against it we played a bunch of anti-Christmas songs by artists that are big and small. An anti-Christmas song gives commentary on the ugly part of the effect holidays have on the working class. I loved all of these songs individually and honestly, I will be listening to them before next christmas. We put a focus on original songs because those don't have the opportunity to shine in the mainstream. I hope you love today's set!! I had a lot of fun and weirdly tonight's show has changed my stance on Christmas music, it actually doesn't suck. What sucks is the 5 songs played on repeat on commercial radio.
