Paris is a Professor of Philosophy and Associate Dean for Arts & Humanities at the University of San Francisco. Some of the best times of his wasted youth were spent at live shows of Motörhead, Slayer, and the Butthole Surfers. Current favorite bands are Neurosis, Boris, Amenra, and Deafkids.
