    Channeling Prince should be nearly impossible. No one will be able to embody wholly the pure enigma that he brought with his music and persona.

    But Janelle Monae exists and it would be rude to not connect them a little bit. And her new single absolutely is reminiscent with the slick guitar riff and sexy breathy vocals that leaves you wanting more. "Make Me Feel" is a little "Raspberry Beret" and a lot of Monae's own personal style. The music video feels like Monae's sexual awakening and the riff is killer and honestly, I couldn't have asked for more from her heavily awaited third studio album.
