Annnnnnnd we're BACK! Welcome back to the music served hot and tender. I went home for break so I hope the automated playlists were okay in the meantime!

A couple weeks ago I saw TV Girl play at the Rickshaw Stop. Surprisingly, I think I've found my favorite venue in the whole entire city. Yeah, it's small and there's a certain odor when you're trapped with so many other people. But the music was good and being so intimate with the artist was something that I've only gotten a handful of times before back home in LA. 

It felt like some dreamy scene from a movie with the lights red and low and everyone swaying in sync back and forth. I don't think anyone really knew how to dance in that crowd (myself included), but with frontman Brad Petering crooning out slightly sweet and slightly horny lyrics from their 2014 album French Exit, no one seemed to care. The only feeling I can really relate it to is high school formal mixed with basement show.
