You've probably heard of big names like Drake and Bryson Tiller. Champions of a style of music that walks the line between longing rap verses and smooth r&b - a form of "sad rap" that appeals to sad boys and girls of all walks of millennial life. While Drake's verses are a bit more rap driven, label mate Majid Jordan carries the OVO label on the r&b front. The duo hails from Toronto, Canada and consists of vocalist Majid Al Maskati and producer Jordan Ullman. Think Drake's "Hold On We're Going Home" (because the duo wrote and produced that track) mixed with lyrics steeped in longing and struggles of being in love in this day and age.
